Cornices
In our custom cornice department we welcome challenges that expand our knowledge. It all starts in our custom woodshop where we use premium materials like Okumme wood and other quality plywood to build our cornice boards. Be it a simple straight cornice or an elaborate shaped cornice for a bay window, our skilled carpenters will scale your design to fit any size window. We use your choice of foam or polyester fill for padding all our cornices and always use thermal lining to cover the inside. Our quality craftsmanship enables us to dramatically embellish your cornice with endless possibilities from intricately shaped banding to the sophistication of decorative nailheads.
Our knowledge and ability goes beyond cornices and lambrequins. We are also experts in building and upholstering custom headboards of any style or design. Our woodshop can build your custom headboard with removable legs if you choose or we can design them to securely hang on the wall. We use foam wrapped with polyester fill to pad all our headboards and upholster the back with thermal lining with decorative gimp to cover all exposed staples.
